DIRECT FIRETRACE SYSTEM: Discharges extinguishant through tube where rupture occurs.
INDIRECT FIRETRACE SYSTEM: Discharges extinguishant through pipework and diffusers when tube ruptures.
INDIRECT BI-DIRECTIONAL FIRETRACE SYSTEM: Discharges extinguishant through pipework and diffusers when tube ruptures. (application specific)
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS: Powder, Foam, FE-36 & Novec 1230. Trace tube pressurised to 12bar.
HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEMS: CO2 & Nitrogen. Trace tube pressurised to 17bar.
END OF LINE CHARGING ADAPTOR: Non-return valve with removable gauge, in line with tube, used for commissioning. A modified version can also be fitted to the isolate valve.
MANUAL RELEASE: A manual override for Indirect systems only.
SOLENOID ACTUATOR: Non-latching electric actuator for Indirect systems only.
PRESSURE SWITCH: Used as a system-monitoring device. Can be linked to alarm or plant shutdown in event of actuation. Can also be modified to indicate system discharge.
ISOLATE VALVE: Located on side or on top of main valve, only to be opened after system is commissioned. Firetrace system will not operate with isolate valve in closed position.
TRACE DETECTION TUBE: 6mm OD Red or clear tube located around risk area. Also available in 6mm clear for high solvent risk areas & 8mm OD Red or Clear ONLY for Direct Powder Systems.
